Good Luck Strung About Your Wrist

It is not uncommon for brides and grooms to usurp or interesting traditions of other cultures in planning their wedding ceremonies. And why not? When I've been to weddings enough that it all began and ended with the same rites and rituals, the drive to differentiate itself may be strong. USian brides and prom dresses  and Canadians who are not descendants of Indians also have family that once called home elsewhere, and can find the fascinating traditions and beautiful heritage.

I recently came across the horseshoe of the wedding, which according to different web sites is common in the UK, not at all common in the UK, bridesmaid dresses often carried by brides, now almost never carried by brides, wood, lace, or definitely a real horseshoe must have been used by a real horse. That's the Internet for you! Ah, well ... remains a wonderful idea. And I believe that whatever good fortune to be found in a evening dress up is likely to remain accessible to the bride in the form of an amulet or a wedding cake decoration and ornament bouquet. No need to strain the wrist or at risk of eliminating their ring bearer!

But for purists, here's the truth about wedding shoes.
